Commissions; whatever the space, idea or art, Alexander will create what you are looking for.

Commissions

Commissions are creating the exact piece of work for a wall or space, created to your specification.

A commission can be lead directly by Alexander, having a unique creation for the space/location, an interpretation of your idea or a direct production of an image or an existing art work. Alexanders commissions also include full portraiture - which is completed in his style. Portraiture can be of an individual, pair or group of people. Work can be in a medium of your choice and work can be completed to any canvas size upto 3mx3m.

Portraiture includes a preliminary seating and sketch work. Photography will then be taken to near completion of the work - often a final seating is needed. However, all portraiture can easily be done without seating and based off an image/photograph. The idea with portraiture is to have not only a portrait which bears resemblance to the seater but expresses their character, culture and often vibe.

All work can be completed fully remotely, with zero face-to-face contact. As a guide through the process; digital photography will be used as the muse with video conferencing and email conversation to ensure the painting is to the correct specification. Video calls are ideal to portray what is wanted from a portrait or creation and a good time to meet Alexander, your artist.

Please get in touch to order. Commissions are individually priced.

Build it.

The client worked out exactly where the art work would be placed in their home. Alexander worked out the size and aspect ratio to ensure the piece would fit perfectly. Alexander confirmed the exact part of the graffiti to be used and began work. Based in oil, the work took five weeks, working along side other commissions.

Own it.

The finished work of Fairouz, hung in the clients home by Alexander, part of the service. Work can be finished with a glaze (gloss or matt) or raw - depending on choice, this piece was matt and measured approx. 1000 x 750cm. This work cost £1,250.

Gianni Versaces’ Majestic Lion

lion.jpg

After a bizarre chain of events back in 2008, a Mayfair antiques dealer had a late 19th century oil painting of a stylised Lion, once owned by Gianni Versace and featured in his home in Lake Como, Italy.

Due to the provenience of the original work, it was rather valuable. Many clients of the dealer had admired the work and would have loved to have owned it, though due to its cost it was unattainable for most. One specific client had approached the dealer and the idea of a ‘copy’ came up.

The copy to the left was completed in oil on canvas, exactly replicating the original which once hung in Versace’s home.
